Our History
The beginning
Founded in 2020, it started to be just a self-service laundromat. The first name that was given by the previous owner was LAVAMONOFF. It rapidly grew during the COVID19 until the present.
New payment methods – MbWay
In Portugal we are used to pay with coins and bills. That´s why we have also a changing machine to give you coins to use with our machines. However the times are changing and we are using more and more digital payments. We have a real popular one in Portugal called MbWay. You just new a phone with the APP and you´re good to go and pay almost everywhere withing seconds. That´s the main reason why we upgraded our payment system allowing our customers to pay cashless.
The new beginning
A new era begun on march 2024. We acquired the laundromat and started with a new logo desing and a new layout inside the building. A new name was given by calling it from now on Tanque da Vila. A lot of new ideas started to showing up, like placing a coffee machine, a vending machine and a shelf with some books to help you spend your precious time.
New machines
We saw the demand for more dryers and washing machines and bought two new ones. A new washing machine with max 12kg capacity and a new dryer for max 18kg. In total we have now 4 dryers and 3 washing machines. One for max 20kg and two for max 12kg alowing that way more customers spending less time.
